At this international conference, 21 people from domestic and overseas gave lectures with the aim of introducing examples of system development, the introduction of education and study dealing with Ruby and introducing the trend of cutting edge technology relating to Ruby. A cumulative total of 884 people attended in two days (see above for the details).
There was also a vigorous discussion for further spread and development of Ruby through this conference.

Furthermore, as in previous years, the week including the dates of the three events Ruby biz Grand prix, RubyWorld Conference, and Ruby Prize was named “Ruby Week”. During this period, various related events were held as a campaign to express the values of “freedom, fun, and contribution to the community” that are alive in Ruby.
